National city competition “CITY CYCLING”
The national city competition “CITY CYCLING” is all about cycling as many everyday journeys as possible in an environmentally friendly way over 21 days. Every single meter counts. Regardless of whether you cycle a lot or a little. Because cycling is good for the environment and the world we live in. It was a matter of course and a great pleasure for the Pipersberg company to cycle along from May 28 to June 17. Team Pipersberg covered an impressive total of 5,184 kilometers, placing 12th out of a total of 65 teams. This achievement deserves great recognition and has earned valuable prizes: fun, team spirit, the experience of nature and of course the saving of over 1,000 kg of CO2. “Of course we’ll be back next year,” says Philipp Gremm, commercial director of the company and an enthusiastic mountain biker.
